Our Process


Phase 1
Design and Specifications

JB Built can provide in-house design consultation, however, if you have a complex remodel we prefer that you come to us with a design and specifications. This includes elevation drawings, site plans, and a thorough list of materials including plumbing fixtures, appliances, tile, etc..

Please note that deck and outdoor structure design can be done entirely in-house and will likely not need a Feasibility Cost Estimate.


Phase 2
Feasibility Cost Estimate

During the Feasibility Cost Estimate phase, we synthesize all of the information that we have to write up a scope of work, rough schedule, and planning documents necessary to create a thorough estimate for your project. This is an effort that can include multiple sub-contractors and vendors.


Phase 3
Plan and Build

Once you have accepted the estimate, we establish a schedule based on material lead times and sub-contractors’ schedules. We require that all materials are on-site prior to demolition in order to make the build process go as smoothly as possible. During your project’s timeline, we will collaborate and communicate with you as often as needed during our business hours. We are available to answer questions and will let you know when we anticipate shifts in the schedule.
